Who are we?
OPENWAY is an association dedicated to the educational, academic and social support of young people, in close connection with their families.
Located in Abomey-Calavi, in the immediate vicinity of the University of Abomey-Calavi and neighborhoods with a high concentration of young people (Zogbadjè, Quartier Latin, Agori, Godomey, Akassato), OPENWAY operates in an area marked by a large young population and faced with numerous educational and social challenges.
The action carried out by OPENWAY aims to support young people towards progressive autonomy, a better understanding of their career path and successful social and professional integration.
The center positions itself as a reliable contact for families, schools, social actors and local institutions.

Educational actions and social
In order to meet the needs identified in the region, OPENWAY is implementing several concrete actions:
- quarterly food distributions for vulnerable students and young people,
- implementation of a dressing solidaire (clothes in good condition),
- material support and education according to the needs identified.
Study space
A place that is open all year round, equipped with tables, chairs, internet access and computers, to promote the study, the concentration and the commitment of young people.
Meetings and insertion
Organization of days of meeting professional, to promote the link between the youth and the world of work.
Library education
Animation of a library with books of mathematics, economics, biology, law, dictionaries, French–English, reading books and teaching materials tailored.
